I have been working with textiles as my preferred medium for more than 20 years. I exhibit and sell my artwork, teach, and lecture.
In my work, I combine different fabrics that are altered by dyeing, painting, printing, photo transfer, and other techniques. The layers of fabric are stitched by hand and machine to achieve texture.
I'm inspired by themes touching on human interaction, ecology, and heritage. Mark-making and abstraction are important to me, as well as experimenting to push the boundaries of the medium.
