Background
I have been working with textiles as my preferred medium for more than 20 years, focusing on surface design art techniques. I exhibit and sell my artwork, and have wide-ranging experience in promoting textile art through speaking engagements, curating exhibitions and teaching workshops.

In my textile art, I combine fabrics that are transformed through techniques such as dyeing, painting, mono printing and other surface design processes. The layers of fabric in my pieces are stitched by hand and machine to create rich textures.

I am inspired by human interaction, ecology, and heritage. Mark-making and abstraction are important to me, and I enjoy experimenting to push the boundaries of the medium.
