I have been working with textiles for 16 years. After starting out as a traditional quilter I quickly discovered art quilts as my preferred form of artistic expression. I exhibit and sell my art work, teach and give talks about fibre art.
In my work I combine different fabrics that are altered by dyeing, painting, printing, photo transfer and other techniques. The layers of fabric are stitched by hand and machine to achieve texture.
Inspiration is all around me and in me, I constantly experiment and ask "What if...?", pushing the boundaries of the medium.
